Art Photography and Photo Enhancement
A captured image is usually most effective if displayed precisely in the manner the artist intended, and to achieve this artists turn to digital photo enhancement. In order to help the viewer's eye move around the image, Michelle chooses to emphasize certain aspects of a photograph through decisive cropping and positioning, and effective use of color. The art of altering photographs is both subtle and tricky; it takes an experienced mind to take an image and polish it properly. Some require only the slightest changes in contrast or color, and others can be completely reconditioned and end up little resembling the original pictures. Michelle is an expert Photoshop artist and has ample experience in photo alteration and adjustment.

Creation, Editing and Layout
Michelle works closely with Napa Valley based Wedding Photographer Nanci Kerby during weddings and afterward in the creation of digital collages for the bridal couple. She assists Nanci in the creation of digital artwork for albums, which utilize the photos both she and Nanci take during the wedding, and through the computer creates unique personal photographic memories for clients.

Candid Shooting
Michelle does some work on the side as an assistant wedding in the Napa Valley, second to Nanci Kerby on assignments. She shoots from different viewpoints than the main photographer and tries to capture memorable candid moments while Nanci takes care of the formal work.
Hobby Photography
Places, Portraits and Pets
Michelle loves everything visual and she can often be found photographing an interesting assortment of leaves on the ground or a particularly personable group of clouds. She enjoys capturing beautiful bits of everyday life, just for the record, and loves to browse through her thousands of hobby shots acquired over the years or people, places, and of course, pets.
